Spectra8 capture card issue

i have just upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04 and ZM 1.25.0 after years of using and loving zoneminder on Ubuntu 8.04 an 1.23.3
however my capture card is not working right it is a Spectra8 4 chip with 4 ports plus the daughter card of 4 ports

after setting up in ZM i get the same video image on channel 0 as channel 1
i setup video0\0 video1\0 video2\0 video3\0 just fine and all video is correct but when i setup any of the channel 1 inputs video0\1 i just get the same image as video0\0

any help would be great

In options::config untick V4L_MULTI_BUFFER and set CAPTURES_PER_FRAME to a value of 2; restart
