Does the 64 bit Opteron work with ZM?

Does the 64 bit Opteron work with ZM?

Hello.

I'm thinking about using a single/dual 64 bit Opteron CPU for the ZM machine. This should improve the overall video compression, all the inner image analysis, and also much cheaper then single/dual Xeon (I even not mentioning the Itanium CPU). Has someone tried to run the ZM on single or multiple CPU Opteron 64 bit machine?

I do know that FFMPEG had some issues with it, but it seems that they have resolved it in the latest versions (http://lxer.com/module/forums/t/13509/).
