CNB Camera - RTSP Feed works in VLC but not Zoneminder

Hi,

I am adding a new camera my system, I currently have 4 ycam blacks which work fine under ZM.

The new camera is a CNB IVP4030VR, I can get video showing in VLC by using the following URLs' there are two feeds one H.264 and MJPG - see codec info from vlc

rtsp://root:admin@192.168.128.21:554

Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (h264)
Resolution: 640x480
Decoded format: Planar 4:2:0 YUV

rtsp://root:admin@192.168.128.21:665
Codec: Motion JPEG Video (MJPG)
Resolution: 640x480
Decoded format: Planar 4:2:0 YUV full scale

I have tried all four rtsp options and they all get error messages listed below

using url of rtsp://root:admin@192.168.128.21:554

I have also tried using ffmpeg and it just says

any ideas?

If its any consolation I have a RTSP problem also and like you it works just fine in VLC using the URL rtsp://192.168.1.11:554/live.sdp
VLC reports the media as :

Codec : Motion JPEG Video
Resolution : 640x480
Decoded Format : Planar 4:2:0 YUV Full Scale

The log is full of the same errors :

Tried various formats etc but no success....

no unforunately that does not work either, is there any paid support for adding new cameras as will need to buy new cameras if this does not work!

I would say good luck with getting RTSP working, or getting paid support.

I am in very much the same boat as you, and I even put up a "Paid Support" post, and not one reply.

And talking of boat's I can see you are just a stone's throw away from my little island.
