Grandtec X-Guard 9 port issue

Post by troijers »

Hi,

Ik have a Grandtec X-Guard 9 port.
loaded bttv with in the options.conf:

options bttv card=103

setup cam1 in ZM:
/dev/video0 and selected device channel 0
in ZM is shows: /dev/video0 (0)

setup cam2 in ZM
/dev/video0 and selected device channel 1
in ZM is shows: /dev/video0 (1)

Problem is that on both cams it shows the stream from chan0
When i set the maximum FPS for both cams at 30 FPS (wich it doesn't support) i get both the differtent cam streams but realy blurry. When is set the maximum FPS for both cams back at 5FPS i only get CAM1 on both streams.

Itś driving me nuts..., i installed the card in a old XP box and it works just fine with the X-Guard software.
Please help me in the right direction.

Now got 2 cameras working, with a good picture but not at the same time.

When i disable cam2 and enable cam1 i get a good stream from cam1.
When i disable cam1 and enable cam2 i get a good stream from cam2.

Would like to see both cams at the same time.

Set capture per frame to 2 and untick multi buffers. Another note: monitors on different channels of a video device must have identical settings. Any difference will cause all to fail in unpredictable ways.
