Can anyone suggest the hardware they used to do a 32 analog/BNC connector setup for Zoneminder?

Two of these should work fine.

Just make sure you have heatsinks on the chips and good case ventilation.
You will also need a decent CPU to process all that video. I guess an i3 and 2GB RAM should be enough.
