ZM can do everything you have suggested already by using custom scripts that execute based on a filter.

But how to pass substituted (based on template) message to another program? Or it is fed to STDIN of the script which I define in filter settings?

How is it possible to execute a program and somehow pass %EI%, %EN%, … as arguments or as substituted template to STDIN? What is passed now, is only $event_path.
