I have spent nearly a week to solve my ZM problem, including by searching similar issue on www and zoneminder forum, but with no luck.
I use Debian 6.07, Koha 3.10, and ZM 1.24. When I installed Koha only on Debian, it's OK. When installed ZM only on Debian, it's OK too (working fine). But when I installed both Koha and ZM on Debian (whether installing Koha first and ZM later, or vice versa - ZM first Koha later) this generates problems in Zoneminder : 1) Monitor-1 and Monitor-2 (between Name & Refresh) cannot be clicked (no hyperlinks) so that I cannot view the streaming; 2) Cycle/Montage cannot be clicked as well; 3) The "Stopped" in "Zoneminder Console - Stopped - v1.24.2" cannot be changed into "Running" (no effect when clicked). [See the Screenshot]. I am not sure whether this is a script conflict between Koha and ZM or not. Anyway, hope anyone could help me...
[PS: sorry mistyped the second IP in the screenshot because of installing and reinstalling the software. With correct IPs, it also doesn't work]

Read this post: http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewto ... t=mootools
Also, check the logs, maybe you could see any clue of why zm is not starting.
Hope it helps,

After more than 15 years, no longer using ZM as surveillance system.
Now in the dark side, using a commercial system...
Re: Koha vs Zoneminder? No Hyperlinks, please Help
Thank you for the response. I am a newbie so that I have to learn mootools. I have tried to restart the computer, open Koha, open ZM Zonsole, visit Zoneminder website, and back to ZM Console to see what happen via the syslog. Unfortunately, I haven't found any clue yet (. I tried to post the edited syslog, but failed.

Here is the syslog of my zoneminder, and I have no idea. I tried to increase the debug level, but with no effect.

Re: Koha vs Zoneminder? No Hyperlinks, please Help
MySql? Both are heavy users. Exactly what's wrong I can't say but that's where I'd start.
Re: Koha vs Zoneminder? No Hyperlinks, please Help
After a painful struggle, I found a solution. Previously, I have tried with three different computers but with the same results/problems. Then, I tried with other Linux Distro, and amazingly it works. I compared the configuration, and I found the main culprit is the port (port 80). After reinstalling a fresh debian, and give Koha an INTRAPORT="8000" and OPACPORT="8001", Koha and Zoneminder now live in harmony. Thanks for the encouragement in finding a solution.
