I'd like the readme to contain a bit more detail as far as upgrading from a previous version goes.
Is the config saved? can i copy the config from a older ver and go perl zmconfig.pl -noi and does it asks the q's that werent in the previous version?

Point taken, I'll try and address this for the next release.
To answer your specific question, you can copy the zmconfig.txt file over and your existing config will be imported. However as from version .14 the configuration is kept in the database anyway so will be preserved. You will still need to run zmconfig.pl at least once to import and new config. This config will be set to it's default values and can then be changed from the web interface if necessary.
Still, a brief answer I'm afraid but I hope it's helpful.
