States not saving changes to Monitors

I would like to setup zm so that I can have the Day/Night change for my monitors.

However, when I create a new state, set the contrast, brightness, etc for each monitor it doesn't save these changes.

I have tried to first create the new state, then restart zm, set the params, and save the state again, still doesn't work. Whenever I change states the monitor params stay the same.

Ideas?

Dittos here, stewhi. I vaguely remember reading about the location of the "state" files or at least the file that contained the state's code, i.e.: start, start, day, night, etc. I vaguely recall them being in either a *.pm or *.so file but for the life of me cannot locate them once again, nor can I locate the website that spoke of their locale.

I've also noticed some site seem to refer to them in a mysql query, when querying "select * from Monitors".

If anyone would care to shed some light on this, stewhi and I would be very grateful

My thoughts exactly discarn8. I have searched the internet over and cannot find a thing about this either. I know there were some problems similar to this in previous versions. I have tried everything I know to get a run state saved with the properties changed. I'm no SQL expert so I'll leave it at that. Anybody else out in ZoneMinder land having this same problem?
