Hi,
I'd really appreciate some advise with this as it's driving me a little crazy....
I have Ubuntu Server 12.04 set up as a web server with ZM installed. i have attached a Logitech C270 USB cam to it and it works great with both Monitor and Modect at 360x240.
when i run "ZMU -d /dev/video0 -q -v" it tells me that the camera is bound by 640x360. i have tried to use this but the camera fails and the link turns red!! Frustrating!
i have increased the memory, that didn't work. so i doubled it - didn't work either. again, i doubled it but nothing works. i'm thinking that i'm missing something or maybe the camera is just rubbish. i've read that USB camera aren't the greatest!
is there anyway i can stop the camera failing when i increase the resolution? i'd also really appreciate if someone could recommend a decent camera (ip or usb) so i can get some high-quality streaming/monitoring going. price isn't an issue as after a home break in, this is top priority.
thanks guys.
