Varying light with slow movement

Hello.
I have a room being monitored where the alarm is being set off by sunlight appearing and disappearing because of passing clouds.
I've also noticed that slow movement into the room will not be detected by the settings I am using.

Can anyone suggest any tweaks (maybe some kind of brightness normalisation) so that I can avoid false alarms triggered by changing light conditioons, but also catch slow moving people (maybe not using alarm images for the composite?)

If you look in the README, there are descriptions for the various types of zones to prevent this exact thing. (Varying light intensity triggering alarms.) A search of the forums will also turn up several posts on the subject - it's a popular topic.
