Since I worked hard on getting my cameras' motion abilities working through ZM, figured I'd try turning on motion tracking. Before we go any further, yes, it's experimental. Got it.
My question is, should the motion tracking be pausing the recording?
What's happening is that if I pop up a live view though zoneminder, the video is rock steady the entire time, even while the camera is in motion. But when I go back and look at the associated captured event, every time ZM moves the camera it freezes the frame for about a second. After that second, video resumes normal frames per second.
Is this normal behavior? Is this the intended behavior?
Thanks!
Should motion tracking be pausing the recording?
Re: Should motion tracking be pausing the recording?
Seriously, nobody has any ideas at all?
(Note that it's not breaking the recording... in other words, this is all happening inside one event, it's just that after zoneminder moves the camera, it stops recording frames for a while.)

Nobody knows if this is even the expected behavior??
