So every once in a while Oracle's stupid java starts complaining about upgrades (I still haven't figured out how to disable it from checking). The other day I decide to finally accept the update and now whenever I try to play back a recording, it shows this message:
In order to have it continue I have to click the "I accept the risk and want to run this application" checkbox and then click the "Run" button. This happens every time! I haven't found any place to override this warning and it's getting ridiculous. Does anyone know how to fix this so that I don't get a warning every time I try to use zoneminder??
Thanks,
-Greg

Re: Java complaining about Andy Wilcock's Certificate
Bump...
No one has this issue? I wonder if upgrading to 1.26 would help.

Hi,
I'm almost 100% sure we all get the warning message and we just accept the risk and the connection is made.
Upgrading ZoneMinder will definitely NOT fix the warning messages from appearing.

Re: Java complaining about Andy Wilcock's Certificate
Is there some way to upgrade the certificate or override it permanently? This message just started appearing after I stupidly gave in to Oracle's dumb annoyance. I check my recordings every morning and this message is causing problems with the response. If I don't click the "I accept this risk" checkbox and click the "ok" button in under a couple seconds the java controls in the playback window don't work. I feel that there is zero risk using this java program as I have been using it for years, yet I can't add it to a "safe" list or something?
Re: Java complaining about Andy Wilcock's Certificate
Cambozola is now at version 0.935.

You will still get the Java warning popup but you will only get the initial warning. One way to avoid issues with Java/Cambozola is to use Firefox web browser.
And no, upgrading to 1.26.4 will not help. If you use an old Cambozola you will get the warning.
