Password Protect ZIP files for FTP upload

In the Upload configuration you can set an event's files to be uploaded over FTP, but there is no way to password protect the file. I know that tar files do not support passwords, but zip files do and it would be nice to have the ability to choose a password that zip files would be protected with before being uploaded. I would feel much more comfortable sending the files to my hosting provider knowing that pictures of my house etc were not just sitting there unencrypted.
