Problem with intermittent FFMPEG stream

Hi

I'm running ZoneMinder 1.25.0 as packaged with Debian wheezy.

I have an HikVision 3MP camera which I cannot configure using RTSP and am therefore using an FFMPEG connection. Zoneminder does capture / display the stream but it keeps ghosting/corrupted/dropping out. I have tried two difference computers and get the same problem on both.

I have attached a screen grab of the log.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Try putting a ?tcp at the end of your source line. This should force the use of TCP vs. UDP and could fix the issue. Also slow down the frame rate at the camera to around 5 FPS. Increase it if it works better.
