8 of 16 channels working why ?

Post by chrisschuil »

hello,

I have ZoneMinder v1.25.0 installed under CentOS 6.4 (Final), with kernel version 2.6.32-358.el6.x86_64, and i have a "Intotech HP240 CCTV DVR Board capture Card 2240 I" with 8 Conexant Fusion 878 chips.
I created a file under "etc/modrpobe.d/bttv.conf" with the lines :

options bttv gbuffers=16 card=77,77,77,77,77,77,77,77 radio=0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 tuner=4,4,4,4,4,4,4,4 chroma_agc=1 combfilter=2 full_luma_range=1 coring=1 autoload=0

I tried less options and more options but the result stays the same, also tried driver 34 but it has the same result.

Everything looks fine at ZoneMinder with all channels 0 on all 8 chips (Video0 to Video7), when trying to get feed from the 2nd channel (channel 1) i get no camera feed only bleu screen.
This is the same with channel 2 and 3, so only Video 0 to 7 on channel 0 works.
It has 8 chips and supposed to have 2 channels per chip, but i couldn't find a bttv driver with 2 channels per chip so the possibility to use 4 channels is there but schouldn't make any difference right ?

When trying this on Windows all channels from 1 to 16 works fine but under linux only half works.
With zondeminder settings:

V4L_MULTI_BUFFER checked
CAPTURES_PER_FRAM set to 2 otherwise i get half image snowy of channel 0 on channels 1,2,3.

IRQ's is as follows:

Chip 0 IRQ 22
Chip 1 IRQ 23
Chip 2 IRQ 20
Chip 3 IRQ 21
Chip 4 IRQ 22
Chip 5 IRQ 23
Chip 6 IRQ 20
Chip 7 IRQ 21

Tried other IRQ's but doesn't help, can i put a chip per IRQ or doesn't it change anything ?
Please help, i don't know where to look anymore.

Thanks, sorry for my bad English spellings, i'm Dutch :)

Kindly greets,
Chris Schuil
