archive always empty

I just set up ZoneMinder 1.21.0.
It works with a USB camera.

Regardless of the camera function (record, mocord), the archive is always empty - so I assume noting is recorded?

Is it normal?

Oh I see now, you have to move recordings to the archive manually!

Currently that is the case yes.

Actually, to expand on this, as it might be a little misleading. You can set up filters to archive matching events automatically, but you still have to set up the filter. Out of the box ZM will not archive any events by itself.
