ubuntu 13.10 , ZM 1.25 , GV800: monitor source are red

Post by samquad »

hello,
I installed zm 1.25 on Ubuntu 13.10 64-bit.
My card Geovision gv 800 16 camera works well with VLC:

resolution 320X240, Pal_B, RGB24

Camera 1: / dev/video0 input / channel: 0
Camera 2: / dev/video1, input / channel: 0
Camera 3 / dev/video2, input / channel: 0
Camera 4 / dev/video3, input / channel: 0
Camera 5 / dev/video3, input / channel: 1
....

I can not run my camera with zm.

I added a camera with the following parameters:
name: monitor-0
source type: local
function: monitor
enable: yes
maximum fps: 5
device path: /dev/video0
capture method:video for linux version 2
device channel: 0
device format: Pal B
capture palette: RGB24
capture with: 320
capture height: 240

the source of the monitor-0: /dev/video0 (0) is still red.

system log:

zmc_dvideo0 11734 INF Starting Capture zmc.cpp 191
zmdc 11734 INF 'zmc -d /dev/video0' started at 14/02/05 07:39:20 zmdc.pl

I also tried my card GV800 on ubuntu 12.04 lts but it does work correctly (driver problem to manage input channel caméra).
should we put the latest version of ZM 1.26.5?
can you help me i am newbie on linux.
Thank you
