Vivotek VS8801

Hello there,

Mangaed to insyall ZM 1.27.x from the documentation found here. OS is Ubuntu 12.04. Pretty straight forward.

Has anyone linked a Vivotek VS8801 Video Server to Zoneminder. I have tried all manner of http and rtsp settings with no joy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to use RTSP just like other Vivotek cameras

General Tab: Ffmpeg
Source Tab:
Source Path: rtsp://192.168.1.241/live2.sdp?tcp (use your IP address to the server and live1.sdp to live8.sdp for your cameras)

Capture Width X Height - start with 320X240 to get it working.

Not sure about control if you have PTZ cameras.
