Hi, i have installed one zoneminder that needed to consume streams from a dvr "Xmotion 308" that it's a itx model atm 1624 underneath branded to be sold in the Spanish market, i have read about many other different brands from the same dvr so maybe this can be of any help to some zoneminder users.
I have not found a MJPEG stream and the itx people have been pretty unresponsive by email, in the end 1 of the 7 emails i sent was replied but he said me they didn't support standard MJPEG or RTSP streams due to his self-developed codec (whatever that means).
It works using the static jpg url:
USER:PASS@IP:PORT/cgi-bin/webra_fcgi.fcgi?api=get_jpeg_raw&chno=NUM
so in zoneminder:
Source Type: Remote
Remote Protocol: HTTP
Remote Method: Simple
Remote Host Name: USER:PASS@IP
Remote Host Port: PORT
Remote Host Path: cgi-bin/webra_fcgi.fcgi?api=get_jpeg_raw&chno=NUM
And the color and resolution should be the same you are streaming of course.

Re: itx security oem dvr's
I have a similar application I am working on with a (4) channel DVR similar to yours, (different brand, same concept);
How did that work out for you on the ZM motion detection if you used that feature? The DVR I am presently working with, (attached .pdf file) has very poor motion detection. I was hoping that the ZM motion could supplement the DVR motion rather than having to build a ZM based PC DVR with a capture card. As the cameras are HD-SDI with PTZ I really only need to improve the motion detection and possibly have ZM output functions trip the DVR to start recording from the DVR's manual alarm inputs. Beyond this, HD-SDI capture cards are very expensive and require very fast/powerful CPUs. (i3, i5 or i7 Intel processors)
If you have a moment please let me know how it all worked out for you.
Thank You,
shelbymustang

I didn't tried to add motion detection to this setup, I think it should work but ZoneMinder will only get six or seven fps so it is limited to analyze and record this information.
