[HELP] No Image despite green status - Logs included

Hello

I have install a fresh copy of Ubunut server 14 and Zoneminder 1.27 snapshots.
Despite having a green status on my sources, I dont get any images. this is what is in the logs:

Prior to this, I had a fresh Linux Mint 17 install and it was the same..

Please help me figure out what I missed..

well.. since no one bothered to help.. i take it that ZM is being abandoned..

anyway.. for anyone else who comes across this.. The only way I fixed it was to reinstall Ubunutu 12.04 with Zoneminder 1.27

Now all is working..

My best guess is that nobody answered because nobody who read your post knew how to help you.

As I read your post, my only idea was to suggest the solution you found yourself. As far as I've read, there has been troubles making zoneminder 1.26 and later work with ubuntu 13.04 or later. Something about ubuntu changing the way mysql works, or something. I bet someone else can explain it better, as I have never tried 1.27 on anything other than ubuntu server 12.04. But as 1.27 don't work well with ubuntu 14.04, and because this makes the user base with your setup very rare, other problems, like the one you were having, will probably be very rare. It may be that the zoneminder module that is downloading the images from your camera, have a dependency library that has changed in 14.04. As the user base for the ubuntu 14.04 + zm 1.27 setup increase, some bright headed individual will probably fix the problem. Until then, I suggest you stick with ubuntu 12.04.

For anybody who gets here via g00gle. I had this problem for a week, but I eventually solved it when I realized I was trying to use an incorrect frame size. I thought my camera was a standard 640x480 but it was 800x480. Now it works perfectly as expected!
