help with filters

Hi, can anyone help me modify the filter purge when full to run only at night time for example only from 00:00 till 05:00?

I will give it a try to set it up like this (see attached file) but i would like to know if this will work, is there any wiki documentation about filters? i'm not very familiar with filters setup.

I like your thinking, but I'm pretty sure that the "Date" and "Time" is OF THE EVENT we are considering, and not the current time and date of the filter running.

You need another strategy ... someone pitch in here ... ?

Most everything in zoneminder can be run from the commandline, which means you can use cron to run a filter.

Usage: zmfilter.pl [-f <filter name>,--filter=<filter name>]
Parameters are :-
-f<filter name>, --filter=<filter name> - The name of a specific filter to run
