Change console colours?

Hi there...
Is it possible to change the consoles background colour from white to black or anything else?
I intend to use a tablet pc near my bed where I can see cycle or montage when I can´t sleep...
The white background is a little annoying when the room is dark and the lights are out.

The look of zoneminders windows is controlled by CSS, though I'm not sure which file is best to edit. I'd probably try editing the skins, but it looks as if background is defined in reset.css.

I was searching yesterdaa after starting this thread, shame on me... I a similar already solved problem...
Now I am going to edit the files after I have found them, I always forget where they are stored in my opensuse distro.

Can you tell me what opensuse distro are you using.
I am a novice that is having problems starting ZoneMinder in OpenSUSE 13.1.
Are you using MySQL or MariaDB?
