Shared data warning when logging into UI

Post by McFuzz »

Hi all,

Another interesting issue that I hope someone smarter than I can confirm whether it is something to worry about or not.

I just upgraded to 1.28.0 from 1.27.1 on Debian, and upon logging in - I get the following error message:

Code: Select all

Shared data not initialised by capture daemon, some query functions may not be available or produce invalid results
So I enabled debugging and saw the following:

Code: Select all

Here's the interesting part - towards the top of the log, it indicates that porchcam (the camera I was viewing when I logged in) has no zones, and then it appears it realizes it does have zones. Next it seems to complain about mapping files (see last few lines).

So basically I am trying to identify whether it is something to worry about, or just harmless ZM shenanigans...

Thanks!

11/10/14 01:06:10.017398 zmu[31131].WAR-zm_monitor.cpp/424 [Shared data not initialised by capture daemon, some query functions may not be available or produce invalid results]
As indicated by "WAR", this is just a warning and not an error message. As long as everything seems to be working fine, you can ignore this.
