Large application

Hi to all,
I need to recording and monitoring up 50-60 IP cameras.
Is ZoneMinder capable for my application ?
If yes what resources need for each one cameras ?

Zoneminde is up to the task but the computer you run it on may not. There are discussions in the WIKI which can guide you with hardware selections. I am currently running 16 IP cameras on a quad core Dell Optiplex with 8 GIG of RAM and a 1 TB drive. I am using mocord and am able to get 2 weeks of recording on the drive without hitting the 95% disk full. You may need to make some settings changes to MySQL to keep the system running.

I maintain a branch of development of ZM that spreads the load across multiple machines. I currently record 70 cameras on three machines totalling about 12 cores.

Resources depend on resolution, required framerate, etc.
