No Video

Hi Everyone,

I've downloaded the ZoneMinder Virtual Appliance (1.25.0) and installed it without any issues.

I upgrade ZoneMinder to 1.28, however the error was happening before and after the upgrade.

The issue I'm having is that setting up the Amovision AM-Q630M using rtsp://10.1.1.50:554/11 does not seem to give me a video. Using the same link in VLC does work, so the details are correct.
I've setup Zoneminder the following way:
Source Type: Remote
Function: Monitor
Enabled: Ticked
Remote Protocol: RTSP
Remote Method: RTP/RTSP (have tried them all)
Remote Host Name: 10.1.1.50
Remote Host Port: 554
Remote Host Path: /11

Using a Anran Camera also has the same issue, using VLC to see stream works. In ZoneMinder it doesn't.
For the Anran Camera I used the following:

My linux skills are limited, is there something else that needs to be installed to via the Monitor feed in ZoneMinder that wasn't part of the ESX package.

Might help if we know what Linux version you are using...

Change your source type to ffmpeg or libvlc (use whatever works best).

At the end I build my own Ubuntu 14.04 and it's now working.

I have the same camera, these are my settings:
rtsp://user:pwd@your.cam.ip.address:554/12?tcp
Capture Width (pixels): 640
Capture Height (pixels):360
Using ffmpeg in ZM1.25 as well. No problems at all.
