My motion url is http://192.168.1.9:8081. How does one add this to zoneminder?

Why do you need to add your motion url instead of just adding the camera url to ZM, that has more support, options, features, etc....????

After more than 15 years, no longer using ZM as surveillance system.
Now in the dark side, using a commercial system...
