I want to have my zoneminder box trigger to start recording on all 8 cameras in my house if my home alarm gets set off. I have a little hikvision DVR box that I've setup Debian on for zoneminder use, it has some alarm I/O's in the rear, but for the life of me I cannot figure out what bus they are on or how to access them. Is there a way to trigger a relay to USB or any other tricks that anyone uses?
My alarm system is a DSC PC1832 and I'm using an Envisalink 3 for internet monitoring. The Envisalink I believe has an API available and its on the same network as the zoneminder box, so communication should be "possible"... but I really don't want to have to write something from scratch if its not needed, or if someone has already done something similar to this.
