I recently upgraded from ZM 1.27 to 1.28. The version of 1.27 I had wad built from source and several of the libraries were causing issues with conflicts in trying to update software on my CentOs install. But I was able to use libvlc as a source method with nice results. After removing 1.27 (Make uninstall), and installing the 1.28.1 RPM, the camera using libvlc no longer worked. I was able to switch it to remote which was a surprise since I had not been able to get reliable frames from that as a source before and it also works with ffmpeg. overall I was extremely pleased with the RPM install. Many things seem to work much smoother now. I was so pleased I decided to add a new IPC camera to my system. It is a HiDef H.264 working on RTP. I have no problem connecting with ffmpeg but the monitor shows a glitchy image with smearing and yoyo type movement. So I want to go back and try to debug libvlc. When configuring the new cam as libvlc, I get no images and lots of errors in the logs like these:
What can I do to resolve this: I tried removing ZM, then removed all packages that presented conflicts when attempting a "yum update". All the remaining packages are now up to date and the reinstalled ZM works as well as before but still has the libvlc issue.
Thank you,
