How to migrate zoneminder settings to other server

Is there a easy way to migrate all zoneminder settings to other server ? (including cameras)
If i install zoneminder on other server and inport the database from the old server , will it work ?

I am not positive but I think if you backup the database (dump) then import the backup to a new mysql installation on the new server, the settings will be transferred. I think this because I recently uninstalled ZM 1.28.1 but left the database alone. Then reinstalled 1.28.1 after working out some package update issues and all the settings were still there.
