Hi Guys,
I've recently switched over to using an AV camera plugged into one of the bt878 capture cards.
It's turned out to be worse quality than my Logitech Orbit webcam which I didn't think would be the case.
Problems are:
1. The event sensitivity is really bad. It misses heaps of events. It's like the camera has fallen asleep. The Logictech Orbit works perfectly. (I'm using default settings for both cameras)
2. Doesn't work as well in low light conditions.
3. Picture is not as sharp.
One interesting thing is, the AV camera has a much higher frame rate.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

The frame rate of your a/v camera is determined by your board and not the camera. The low light performance and clarity are obviously issues with your camera. Camera quality is often by far the major factor influencing the quality of a whole ZM setup.
When you say it misses events, can you give a bit more detail? If the camera is less sensitive then it may be that the differences in brightness of pixels may be less than with your other cam perhaps. You may need to adjust the zone settings to cope with this.
