I see the 7014 is compatible and I doubt this one should be any different but before we ditch a proprietary 16ch analog system for Zoneminder, I was hoping for any assurance if anyone has any experience with it.
Thanks!
Axis M7016 questions
Re: Axis M7016 questions
Yes, we use one here at work. Almost all of our cameras connect to it and it works fine for us!

Re: Axis M7016 questions
Any updates on how the new system is working? I am going down the same path and i'm curious what i will find.
Axis 7014 and Older Legacy CCTV and a Ubuntu and ZM. I have the system build, just waiting for Hardware to arrive.

Re: Axis M7016 questions
I found such a good deal on Grandstream GXV3504's that I bought 4. All I can say is they generally work OK once configured but they are buggy and the motion detection/ftp upload is a bit weak.
The interface is horrible and poorly designed with only worse help captions written in broken English.
If the video upload was more reliable I could remove the zm appliance all together as encoded video is all that I need. As a result, I have to farm out completed event series to an AMQP backed set of encoding machines to keep up.
I am sure the Axis hardware will be flawless, I have never been less than perfectly satisfied with anything I have used from them and their support has always been good when needed.
