There is no timeline in the majority of cameras
There is no timeline in the majority of cameras
Hello. I use the translator. Don't know how to properly enter in the search of your problem. On the user accounts have the permission to view stream and events, but is no possibility to scroll through old posts. Only one camera has a time line and ability to scroll. On other cameras events can only run, but not to scroll. How to make this function for all cameras?
Re: There is no timeline in the majority of cameras
Help. Please!
Re: There is no timeline in the majority of cameras
Unfortunately the translator makes it difficult to understand what you are seeing.
Are you sure that your cameras are recording? What function code are you using (I do not know how these translate, but in English MoCord, MoDect, NoDect, Monitor, etc.)? Does the console shoe the existence of events by hour, day, etc?
It would be helpful to isolate whether the problem is that the cameras are not recording, or whether they are recording and you can not review the data from them.
Also, you mention users and permissions -- does the problem behave the same for all users including the admin user?
If it is different for one camera you almost certainly have some setting different on that camera?

1. I use the Record function.Linwood wrote:Unfortunately the translator makes it difficult to understand what you are seeing.

2. Cameras record, I can watch the recording as an Administrator.
3. All users (except administrator) do not have the possibility of flipping the record. They can see them but not rewind. But 1 camera to do it they can! For all users I have is Stream - View, Events View.
4. Settings the cameras I checked, they are the same.

Re: There is no timeline in the majority of cameras
Hopefully someone more knowledgeable about the security system will respond, it sounds as though the problem lies there. I do not use it and have not paid any real attention to it.
I assume you have checked the "restricted cameras" and experimented with different settings there?

Re: There is no timeline in the majority of cameras
Removed the restriction on cameras with the user, the problem disappeared. Now this question was for the person who can see all the cameras, but if the person is required to follow certain cameras then the problem remains unsolved.
Re: There is no timeline in the majority of cameras
There is something else going on here. As far as I know:
1. If you enable Events = Yes for a user, you cannot prohibit them from rewinding/pausing/skipping events. There is no code in ZM that restricts this that I found.
2. The area you circled in your image is the "progress bar" --> its shows at what point are you in viewing the event
3. The reason why you can't see the progress bar in the image that is outdoors is because look at the top --> all the timestamps are wrong (70/01/01 03:00:00) and there is no data about how many seconds that event was etc. If there is no event data the progress bar won't show as it can't compute length.
This is either a ZM bug that is kicking in due to some reason, or some configuration issue ,or some DB issue or some browser issue
I just created a restricted user who can only access 2 monitors, set the same permissions as you have, set mode to record and logged in as that user - I can see/rewind/fwd events.
Out of curiosity, can you do this:
1. Clear your browser cache (and which browser do you use)?
2. Login as admin, post a screenshot of event 122
3. Login as that restricted user. post a screen shot of event 122
I'd like to see how your browser is reacting as both users (not the other user's browser)

I no longer work on zmNinja, zmeventnotification, pyzm or mlapi. I may respond on occasion based on my available time/interest.

Re: There is no timeline in the majority of cameras
I tested this with different browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox) and on different computers. Tried to give users full rights.asker wrote:There is something else going on here. As far as I know:
