Update worth it?

I have zm 1.26.5 now. I hit the update link and it tells me its up to date. Couple of questions around 1.28.x

1 - are the features / upgrades worth the hassel?
2 - is there an easy way to upgrade? link through gui wasn't it, how bout terminal?
3 - this is on ubuntu, if its worth it should i build a new zm for 1.28 and kill off 1.26.5 ubuntu?


Let me know your thoughts, I'm interested in what the community thinks.

I would recommend going to 1.28.1 as it is "stable" for Ubuntu. There are newer versions that are in the testing phase.

Thanks bbunge!! so from the link you provided I will have to build another ubuntu server to get to 1.28. Thats fine i have plenty of resources on hyper-v to install side by side and copy my settings. I briefly read and am interested in zmninja the mobile app but am i correct it won't be available until 1.29? And where/how do i get it? Not finding in app store (ios 9).
