I have been trying different mpeg live stream formats such as swf, flv, ogg, webm, and mp4. Flv works fine when I use a flv streamer in my air app, and the others work in the browser, except for mp4. For reference, I am able to generate mp4 videos from events and view them in my browser(Firefox) with no problem. I have ffmpeg installed. I wonder if there is some other library I must install, or is it a matter of configuration, or is mp4 not supported at this time?

Can mpeg live stream be .mp4
Re: Can mpeg live stream be .mp4
When trying the mp4 stream and monitoring it in Charles proxy, I notice that the response headers show application/mp4 and not video/mp4 just as the video immediately fails.
