Understanding the Events folder

Hi guys,

I'm wondering how the events folder directory is mapped out.

From what i can see there is a folder called 3. Then it goes year, month, day.

I'm a little unsure what each folder represents after that far, anyone know?

The 3 is the internal id # of the monitor. The rest is hours, minutes, seconds
