Pi Install Error - Conf zoneminder does not exist

Post by clayjk »

Hello.
I'm trying to install zm to a Raspberry Pi3 following the instructions on the Wiki (https://wiki.zoneminder.com/Raspbian) and am running into a problem when trying to enable ZM in Apache.

All the earlier steps worked without error but when I type
"a2enconf zoneminder"
I get the following error:
"ERROR: Conf zoneminder does not exist!"

I've tried reinstalling the packages preceding this step and everything says is it installed.

Any suggestions on what may be causing this or things to look for to figure it out?

Just an additional thought/question:
Where should the zoneminder config be saved when installed correctly?

Just wondering where to look to validate if it actually is missing or just a matter of rights or exact location it resides at.

should be in /etc/apache2/conf-available which has a symlink in /etc/apache2/conf-enabled.

this is in an Ubuntu / Puppy Linux Tahr 6.0.5 OS.

I looked in the /etc/apache2/Conf-available folder and there is no files or related symlinks to anything zoneminder.
Is there a location I can download or get the contents of the conf file so I can manually install/create it?

Is there a step I am missing that would cause this file not to exist in the location?
