Installing on Debian - systemctl says no such file or directory

Post by pasties4me »

I'm trying to install on a new install of Debian, following the instructions at https://wiki.zoneminder.com/Debian_8_64 ... e_Easy_Way

It seems to go ok until

systemctl enable zoneminder.service

at which point I get "Operation failed: No such file or directory"

Any help much appreciated

I did not get the error you cited and was able to complete the setup successfully. My Debian (8.5) was from an image I created a couple of weeks ago from a netinstall CD. I had MySQL, Apache and PHP installed on the image so that was the only part of the WIKI setup i did not do.

OK - I've since tried again and now it installs ok - not sure what was going on before, but it's ok now
Thanks
