Shenzhen Cameras

Post by mavermc »

So I have to send my cleverloop in for repair, and in the meantime I wanted to try my hand at something more serious like zoneminder. The problem is there is no documentation on how get these things working. Thanks to the iSpy database I found these urls working

rtsp://admin:123456@192.168.1.54/mpeg4
for a h264 stream

and
http://192.168.1.53/auto.jpg
seems to give a snapshot

Can't seem to find a mjpeg stream for lighter load of analysis with zoneminder.

I also can't seem to get the h264 stream to work with zone minder.

Tried several cgi based urls and none of them worked. not sure what else to try, I actually have 2 versions and the above info only works on the older version. Is there anyway to sniff out these urls?

Thanks

Most modern cameras are onvif compliant.
If you upgrade to zoneminder 1.30.0, you can use onvif discovery to probe the camera automatically.
Alternatively, you can install onvif device manager on a windows pc and have it do the same thing.
Visit my blog for ZoneMinder related projects using the Raspberry Pi, Orange Pi, Odroid, and the ESP8266
All of these can be found at https://zoneminder.blogspot.com/
