didn't match...

can't see any Picture.

Following the installation documentation avoids this issue.

You should also read the help text for the max fps & alarm fps fields. The values you have entered are invalid.

thanks a lot... the hint with the path_zms was the correct one. Didn't find that in the "how to"
i used for my installation.

This exact issue is reported in the forums at least once a week. We know it well.

All Ubuntu users should follow the appropriate easy-way instructions found in the wiki.

In your case, here are the installation instructions which should be followed:

Scroll to the bottom and you will see the step stating to set your PATH_ZMS, complete with a warning in bold stating your video will not work if you don't set this.
