zm-1.21.2-3.4 RPM is up for test

Post by cordel »

A new build with a few bug fixs and I made a script for logrotate to keep logs for four weeks and rotate weekly to help keep file sizes down.

In the usual testing directory
http://www.computerntelecom.com/modules/mydownloads/
or
ftp://download.computerntelecom.com/pub ... /3/testing

Cordel
PS As always pls let me know of any possible issues even the things that make you go hummm. Either PM me here or on my website. I've had all the patchs runing for a week exept the zmaudit patch which went in yesterday and haven't noticed any problems.
If I don't here anything over the next week I'll move it to the yum updates server.
Happy testing.

Yes it is for Fedora. I just emailed Ross the spec srpm so he can build for Mandrake. There will also be official release 1.21.3 I think around next weekend and unless Phill has added other fixs it should be about the same. I'm tring to get things a little more organized so hopefully soon people shouldn't have to wait a day of two before the rpms start coming out. I'll also be able to build for different configurations of ffmpeg or mysql along with FC3, FC4, and I think I got mandrake and centos going as well. Debian got me stumped for the moment but I really haven't put much into it yet. I still have to finnish centos. I should be able to port it rather easy though. For the moment I just have to be carefull about how much I have running on the one server, it's a little handicaped since it is only a PIII with 512 MB Ram I can only run two OS's at one time or it gets kranky.

Cordel
PS I have started a YUM update server for Mandrake as well. I just have a few things to work out so that Ross has the proper permisions for it. I started using DB4 for it but it's too limited so I'm looking at something else, either mysql or NSS MySql is what I really want to try. That way I can easly build administration for it into my web utility.
