Hello

Please refer to the initial post by AndresCT46 » Tue Aug 09, 2016 12:01 pm
Probably you will find the right log.

The URL that you point it corresponds to a camera that was down at that moment, nothing more. Actually there are almost 140 cameras working on 2 servers with the url you mentioned.

"I also recommend using monit to ensure that it starts back up if it does stop."
Please can you be more specific about this? What do you mean with "monit". Don't know if I understood, but did you mean we have a way to starts zoneminder again when it goes stop?

You will probably find there the log you are looking for.

Don't worry about url, it was a camera down at that moment. In fact we have almost 140 working with this stream with ffmpeg.

"I also recommend using monit to ensure that it starts back up if it does stop."
I am not sure I am understanding what are you trying to say with "monit".
Did you have a way to zoneminder automatically restarts when it goes to stop ? Because right now we have to manually restart again in the monitor (web console)

Thanks,

The original log posted is just zms errors, and maybe 20 mins. You should be looking for zmc errors, or just post full logs across the time it fails.

Monit is a third party app that you could use to monitor the service and restart it. https://www.digitalocean.com/community/ ... gure-monit, or google "monit restart service"

iconnor,
Didn't we fix unable to decode frame to be an error and move on? Saw this in one of the later log posts.

Thank you for the -monit- suggestion. To be honest we didn't knew this application. Many thanks, this will help.

We have adjusted yesterday some parameters on the server, and also increased the RAM memory on each. It was below the limit showed in mysqltunner.
Now if the error happens again we will send the complete log (btw it is huge log).

On the contact page on zoneminder.com there is an option to discuss paid support, that isn't me, but some of the team who consult commercially. But since you are a larger install you may have some budget to get direct assistance, not assuming anything, but just giving you the option.

Thank you Steve,

Yes. As soon as we can fix the production environment, it may be possible to get a budget to support.
