buffer overrun

im having a problem that i was sort of trying to make. I am stressing a box to check its stable and i have this problem

It logs
Jul 13 22:27:39 zm zmc_d0[3869]: WAR [Buffer overrun at index 24 ]
and doesnt want to do anything zoneminder related
cant get into console either local or remote, can get webmin and appache default site is fine

Any ideas

Get more memory or set you buffer sizes down.

oh i see. i have 512meg in it. Why does it do this it works fine for a day or so then i noticed tonight it did this

My guess would be that the capture daemon is tring to feed in images faster than the system can process and thus your buffer is full. You can try also searching the forum for other possibilitys.

cheers mate will do, I have backed off the capture rate cos it was running at an ave load of about 5.4.
BTW its a 3.2Gig celeron with 512Mb and 160Gb HD
