getting multiple video's

So i have a long 12hr recordings broken into 10 min per hour that i want to download. I can go to each individual event one by one and generate the vid / download but that will take forever. I tried highlighting all and choosing export 'still images' figuring id combine in post, but it just sits at exporting. Now i read somewhere that memory could be an issue so i jumped all my resources....1cpu to 2 x 4 cores and 1gb ram to 4 gb..(its a vm). But still no go. as a test i tried exporting just one event thinking it was the volume and i seem to be getting no where.


1 - will exporting accomplish what i want to do? (get all the events/videos of the last 12 hrs)

2 - is there a better way i just don' t know of?

Seems like it will take you forever. The most I have ever done is two 10 minute events. Those were at low resolution and I was able to combine them into one file. Some of the wiser users may have a way but I wanted you to know that your post had been read,
