I'm currently running 1.29.0 with two Hikvision cameras recording continuously at 4 fps, 1920x1080p, Medium video quality. I have a 1 TB hard drive and get about 4 days of recording before running out of disk space. I have JPEG quality at 80% for non-alarm frames, 95% for alarm frames.
Can someone who has tried the H264 video branch comment on how much more efficient this branch is in terms of disk usage compared to the way I'm running? Approximately how many more days would I get running the same setup but switching to H264 video recording? I'm trying to determine if it's worth the switch.
