The little silver ring on the lens moves, it is not obvious but
you can focus the camera with that.

This camera is similar to the Lorex LNE3003, which I worked on with the guys at Lorex to make the UI much better (cross browser compatible). It also has Yoics built in so you can access it from anywhere including your iphone. We were still strapped with the design issues that that come with a camera like this.

I'm just about finished with a PTZ camera that has real nice cross platform compatibility and a single socket HTTP/RTSPT server which makes it much nicer to access and share than these cameras that use a zillion ports for each kind of data.

You can? the lens is buried amongst a nest of led's and you can't actually reach it with your finger. Maybe with a small screwdriver it could be moved - i'll have a look next time I'm on site.

That did fix the focusing, but the resetting is ongoing making it useless. It's unreachable more than not. Firmware update did nothing to resolve. It even forgot its own IP a few times and went back to dhcp mode.

Avoid this camera.

Must be different than the Lorex LNE3003 then.
