I dunno... Lemme look up the thread and I'll get back to you.
See this thread, http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewto ... 51&start=0

Specifically, Phil's post Posted: Wed Feb 11, 2009 11:06 am

I does work, it's just messed up. When you first define a monitor it is defined as V4L2 but the available settings are for V4L1. If you toggle from V4L2 to V4L1 and back to V4L2 all is good. All I was trying to point out is, don't get too comfortable with 1.24.0 as Phil will be releasing an update. Fairly soon, I expect..

I can't find anything that might corrspond to those errors on those lines. Can you find out the size of the filtersave.php file?

That is strange, here is mine

Code: Select all

-rw-r--r-- 1 apache apache 3840 2009-02-16 17:49 /var/www/html/zm/skins/classic/views/filtersave.php
but the source file has not been modified since October.

In the ZM dist tgz it is listed as

Code: Select all

-rw-rw-r-- 500/500 3840 2008-10-14 13:13 ZoneMinder-1.24.0/web/skins/classic/views/filtersave.php
Could you have an older version from one of the RC releases?

I have Computerkings problem with the filter save as well as an anomaly with events. Events record and play normally, but if I look at Stills, only some of them show the rest are blank boxes.
tnx

c0mputerking wrote:Yes Curtis i noticed the same thing there is no v4l2 setting like on the DVD. However i prefer your version on cd better cleaner faster there is alot of stuff on the DVD that is usefull but not completely necessary.

1. My filters do not work, I cannot save filters I always get an error I am not near that machine right now so do not know the exact error sorry maybe you can confirm. I have tried deleting the purgewhenfull filter but it will not delete either can you confirm?? If not i will try an reinstall

2. Cannot get 640X480 working each time i set camera to 640X480 picture goes black. This camera works ok at 640X480 on my 1.23 box however that is my own Gentoo homebrew system.
This is the first time that our Live CD has been built with MMAP support. I'm not sure how this works exactly...and I don't believe it uses the standard shared memory covered in the WIKI. So I'm not sure why your resolution breaks at 640x480...i'll try to look at it this week

Computerking

For what it's worth I have two cams running 640x480 on my system. I am running in a VM using another system as a camera feed . I have not tried with a Camera board yet.I have the vm set up as two processors and three gig of ram.
