Thanks for the reply. I find cambozola.jar in the /usr/share/zoneminder/www directory as well as /usr/share/java. I assume these are the right locations.

Thanks for the info. I have made so many mods that i am not sure where i am now, but it still doesn't work.

I saw some mention of switching from streaming to jpg mode. What is that about I haven't seen any options for that.

A bug was recently discovered & fixed with symptoms similar to yours. Recording would work fine, but as soon as you opened a monitor, zms would crash and thus no live video could be watched. This would only happen on certain systems if hashed authentication was enabled. If you've got authentication turned on, temporarily turn it off. Report back whether or not that resolved the issue. We can discuss your options if that fixes it.

Note, this bug is different than the php date.timezone issue from prior years. Nonetheless, make sure your php.ini file has the appropriate entry for date.timezone.
