I have a big install I am keen to use storage areas on as it makes life easier when wanting to add extra hard drives. I'm currently using 1.30 from iconner ppa.

Will let you know if I find anything

Hi all!
I had same problem. To eliminate this problem i stopped zoneminder, flush all events, etc.. and install last (1.13.12) update. Now events are successfully saved.

Nice work Mr IC :D

Thanks for this...

1) I created a virtual machine to test (Ubuntu 16.04.1 lts) installed master ppa 1.30.1 and then upgraded to latest storage areas ppa 1.30.12
No problems at all.

2) I then set up path_zms to the usual /zm/cgi-bin/nph-zms

3) logged into <myipadress>/zm

4) Added 2x IP cams and setup up recording... all ok

5) Created 2 new dirs /1 for camera1 and /2 for camera2 (chown and chmod)

6) Edited cams and change storage... all ok

2 small things i did pickup so far. Screens shots of the logs below

1) My console did not show properly at first... I noticed i could see the bandwidth setting in dark so i clicked on it and changed it to high and then back
to low. Then the whole console showed.

2) Also when I add storage paths and click save I get an error or maybe its not.

Otherwise so far all looks good... Will keep you posted

Q :D
