Meanwhile I did a new installation on 18.04 desktop and 16.04 desktop to test: no success with montage window. I am back to 18.04 server, surveillance is active and modecting. Firefox is still not working for montage and montage review. I installed Chrome, there I can see the montage (Windows 10 Professional actual spring update). Same on Android 8.1: Firefox: nope. Chrome: yes.
I will let it be like it is for now...

As you are having issues with Firefox have you downgraded from a Firefox Quantum version to ESR 52.x? If so I would recommend doing a Firefox Refresh to get rid of custom settings and add ons. Or start Firefox with add ons disabled. With three cameras you should not have a problem with Montage although it may be possible for a pop up blocker to cause issues.

Coming back to the post from last month, not being able to see the MONTAGE window in Firefox:
I had no monitor groups defined so far. When I clicked on the hyperlink for MONTAGE I noticed today ZM tried to open the following link:
http://192.168.178.28/zm/index.php?view=montage&group=3 (don't know why group=3)
I created a new group, containing all cameras and selected this group: montage worked with:
http://192.168.178.28/zm/index.php?view=montage&group=1
I deleted the new group and applied the default "No Group", voilĂ :
http://192.168.178.28/zm/index.php?view=montage&group=0 opened the MONTAGE window in Firefox. No clue why it tried to open the group=3 first...
Thx again bbunge for your support and patience back last month.
